About the chef..

Arkadiusz Bednarek(Arek), is an Edinburgh based chef with over 20 years of experience is hosting, cooking and serving food.

He lived in Poland for most of his life where he worked for highly rated restaurants as a host. Being intrigued by Scotland, he later moved to Edinburgh to pursue a career as a chef. He likes working with locally grown and reared produce and specialises in game and seafood. He also has a deep knowledge of wines, regions of their production and how to pair dishes with the best wines. He has been working as chef for multiple Scottish based restaurants and now wants to take a step further and cater fine dining and private events. He currently owns and manages a guest house on Leith Walk where he hosts fine dining experiences for his guests.
